Dixon Jones is a digital marketing entrepreneur, SEO speaker, and CEO of InLinks and Waikay. Active in search marketing since 1999, he focuses on entity-based SEO, answer engine optimization, natural language processing, internal linking, structured data, and measuring brand visibility in large language models.
Dixon’s work centres on helping businesses move beyond keyword-led optimization towards entities, topics, knowledge graphs, and machine-readable brand information. InLinks uses proprietary NLP technology to support content optimization, internal linking, and schema implementation, while Waikay measures and improves how brands appear in AI systems such as ChatGPT and Gemini.
Before InLinks, Dixon was one of the founding directors of Majestic, the link intelligence platform known for mapping connections across the web. He helped bring its technology to market and supported the company through two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, while one Majestic project involved creating a three-dimensional visualization of the internet aboard the International Space Station.
Dixon has spoken internationally for nearly two decades at events including Pubcon, brightonSEO, SMX, SES, InOrbit, YoastCon, and TEDx. His talks have explored link-building workflows, PageRank, search engine warning signals, entity SEO, Knowledge Graphs, AI brand visibility, the changing nature of SEO, and the wider social and philosophical effects of internet technology.
He has received a Lifetime Achievement Award for services to search, as well as Search Personality of the Year and Outstanding Technology Individual of the Year honours. InLinks has also won Search Technology of the Year.
Dixon hosts the recurring shows “Old Guard vs New Blood” and “The Knowledge Panel,” bringing together search professionals to discuss industry developments and individual SEO topics.
