Friends of Search 2027

Friends of Search is an annual search marketing conference held in Amsterdam, organised by industry associations DDMA and VIA Netherlands. The 2027 edition, the event’s 14th, takes place on 11 March 2027 at the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam, and the event typically draws at least 700 attendees each year.

The program brings together international speakers from search engines, agencies and leading companies across SEO and SEA (PPC) tracks, split over multiple session rooms. Topics traditionally covered include e-commerce SEO, E-E-A-T and technical SEO implementation on the SEO side, and Performance Max, first-party data, automation, Google Shopping and bid strategies on the SEA side.

A ticket includes access to the day’s full program, lunch, and an end-of-day networking session with drinks and bites.

Each edition also features the Friends of Search Awards, presented on the day of the conference, recognising the best SEO and SEA (PPC) work in the search industry across two categories judged by an independent panel of international search experts.

The event is aimed at a broad range of professionals, including SEO and SEA specialists, content marketers, copywriters, online marketers, developers, campaign marketers, online advertising consultants, and digital or online marketing managers.
