Daniel Waisberg is a Search Advocate at Google, where he bridges the gap between the Search community and the engineering team behind Google Search Console.
Based in Tel Aviv, his work focuses on developing and improving key features such as the URL Inspection API and Bulk Data Export, while educating the SEO and developer community through talks, blog posts, and YouTube series on Search Console.
He is known for his practical insights into data analysis and visualization—especially his humorous campaign against the overuse of pie charts.
Before joining the Search team in 2019, Daniel spent six years as an Analytics Advocate at Google in the UK. In that role, he helped Google users and leadership make better data-driven decisions, managed two large-scale internal data platforms, and contributed to product vision through user feedback.
His work emphasized the intersection of analytics, visualization, and storytelling, aiming to make data both accessible and actionable.
Daniel is also the author of Google Analytics Integrations (Wiley, 2015) and has published over a hundred articles across major industry publications, along with eleven official Google case studies.
He has presented at more than eighty events in twenty cities worldwide, often focusing on data strategy, measurement, and visualization.
His career reflects a long-standing commitment to empowering marketers and developers with meaningful data insights that drive better products and smarter decisions.
